The only thing that sucks is that my husband is playing a video game in about the same room as our record player so every so often, he's yelling and talking loud to his friends through headset which is talking over the music....so I'm not able to fully enjoy it. ::)

Dammit my Microsoft Office programs are crashing repeatedly on launch.
I hate computer program issues.

Same here, I was thinking about getting the re-releases, but I already have all those (and really most of the singles) on vinyl and really could not justify the cost, I buy records to listen to, not really collect. I might pick up LAD though, just because my side 2 has a scratch.

I actually ended up getting the re-release of Piece of Mind which came as bit of a surprise because I had thought they were only imported and couldn't be found in any music stores here but I ended up finding it and snatched it up really quick! I almost have all the 80's Maiden albums on vinyl and I have The Final Frontier. I just need Iron Maiden, Killers and Seventh Son so I may either get the re-releases of those or since I found you can get regular vinyl pretty easily on Amazon, I may do that.

1995: Yitzhak Rabin is assassinated, Chirac's nuclear tests in the Mururoa Atoll spark massive public outcry and the Bosnian War reaches its culmination. Kevin Costner shocks the world by turning from Hollywood's biggest star to the biggest has-been and Mel Gibson puts violence in movies to a whole new level in Braveheart. Iron Maiden release the best heavy metal album of all time, at the climax of which their new singer, Blaze Bayley would sing,

What is at home when the battles are done?
After the war when no one has won
I'm just a soldier!

Yes, thanks! Went to sleep at 10 pm, so I'm quite happy.
Should I ask about you?

I'll put it in the words of my favourite band, who describe my feelings disturbingly accurate:

Even though it's reached new heights, I rather like these restless nights
It makes me wonder, makes me think, there's more to it, I'm on the brink

The good news is that I randomly came across this adorable armadillo on Wikipedia:

...and I'll be heading out to the laundromat now. Later!

Oh well I said it before, and I'll say it again
The clothes start to smell, I should get rid of that stain
The fastest way to do that is to wash them

I pick up my clothes, and I empty my jeans
Walk down the road, up to the machines
I stuff my laundry right into the washer

I'm heading out to the laundry
I've got nothing to do at all
I'm gonna do it promptly
Or else my wardrobe's small
Or else, my wardrobe's small!

I throw in the coins, four euros gone
Forty degrees, should not be to warm
'Cause I don't want the threads to all start shrinking

The waiting begins, takes up half an hour
It's taking so long, the coffee tastes sour
The radio is playing Billy Idol

I'm heading out to the laundry
I've got nothing to do at all
I'm gonna do it promptly
Or else my wardrobe's small
Or else, my wardrobe's small!

The washer is done, the clothes are all clean
The t-shirts are wet, no stains on my jeans
No rush, don't need to put them in the dryer

Taking them home, put them on the rack
The heating is on, now I can lean back
And post these nonsense words for you to read them

I'm heading out to the laundry
I've got nothing to do at all
I'm gonna do it promptly
Or else my wardrobe's small
Or else, my wardrobe's small!
