Yeah. But I think they have all been nuked.

In other news, great fun today!! My oldest daughter loves 'working' on stuff, so we got some new tires on some spare wheels for the old Saturn, and she helped me mount them. She used the jack to lift the car, used the impact wrench to take on and off the lug nuts, and did a great job! The, when we were driving my quick fix to the shift linkage broke, so at home she helped me run a zip-tie through the shifter/linkage interface and the car is up and going!
That's awesome, man. So many dads, even today, would discourage that sort of behaviour from their "little girls". I'm glad you're helping her learn more. Also, I'm glad your car is working!

I stand corrected (on the heavy-issue)!
I'm quite fond of junk food myself. And beertime. As it turned out, between 12 months ago and up until June I gained 7 kg's and started to feel a bit.. Posh. So I lost 14 kilos during the summer. The problem with that though is that I lost a bunch of muscle too in my upper body area and I'm yet to go to the gym. ><

I actually don't look that skinny, interesting enough. But I do look very slim. I worked out quite heavily in summer and started to look pretty good but ever since the school started, I went back to usual. I'm planning on changing it, though.

I think I'm going to go with the Jewish way of measuring weeks, i.e. starting on Sunday. That way, I can say that after this heap of abomination that was last week, I've had a brilliant start to this one: I just returned from the opera, and it was amazing.

Heres to hoping you have a better week this week. :) Same goes for everyone else. Hope everyone has a good week coming up.

I only have a 3 day work week due to Thanksgiving. I have off Thanksgiving Day and took off the next day after.
Really looking forward to some vacation. Just hoping work doesn't get too hectic the next 3 days...

Well, given that this week ended with my hometown's team being relegated from the top tier of Norwegian football, the next week should probably be better.

I hope you don't mind me saying so but I am quite sure you are a heavy person

Tactful.

I have somewhat cut back on pizza, burgers, etc. and dropped from a svelte 245 lbs to a positively scrawny 215. I've always had a flat stomach, but went from a little soft to some actual muscle visible. The big change was not drinking a six-pack of Coke a day. Can't run -- too boring -- but I play basketball a couple of times a week. Getting too old for that, though dropping the weight has made it better -- I can once again touch the rim. Still, it's only a matter of time until I blow out my Achilles tendon, so I may soon take up tennis.

Thanks! My oldest daughter is always asking to do stuff like that. I enjoy the fact that she has now, in the last few weeks, successfully reformatted a computer and installed Ubuntu, as well as changed tires on an auto!

@Cornfed-- The soda is a killer, you are right! I try to not drink much soda at all, but once in a while I cave in. Good for you on the weight loss!

Me, my dad, and his friend who came in from Wisconsin all ate at Pizza Ranch last night. If you have a location near you, you MUST check them out! Not only is the pizza super great, but the broiled chicken and jojos are super amazing too! You get your money's worth in the buffet for $11 for sure! It's too bad I had to spot the peach and apple pies after I was already super stuffed. Oh well. I'll remember that next time.
