I'm not a huge fan of Slayer either. I do have a copy of Reign in Blood I intend to get framed, with a little hammer, and a plaque that says..."In case of hippies, break glass."
 
I'm not much of a Slayer fan myself. Asides from a few great songs the rest of their catalogue is pretty much exactly the same: heavy, fast, with loads of yelling from Tom Araya. I will never understand why they got so popular.
 
Maybe it is because everyone thinks they should be a fan. With a name like 'slayer' it should be a heavy metal staple, you dig?
 
Slayer has five special songs (Seasons in the Abyss, Angel of Death, Raining Blood, South of Heaven, Black Magic) and the rest all sound the same. I don't like them.

I go on a Slayer binge maybe once or twice a year. Spend a day or two listening to nothing but Slayer, that's all I need out of them.
 
I live at home and help take care of my 19yo brother who has severe autism and can't talk. I love helping out, but I hate it when he wants one of his stupid pop songs on repeat over and ove again.
 
I never really got into thrash metal in general. I mostly like either NWOBHM or death/black stuff, for some reason.
