Seems to me that smilies are becoming a new langugage, don't you think?

LOTLDR-well, this thread is like running a maraton-100,000 posts right?
Hmmm... the thread has become quiet again.

Well, if no one's gonna post anything in the next 2 minutes I'm going to bed.

Well, I've never read that book, but I've read a few things about Nietszche's philosophy... really made me think. There are similarities between his, Schopenhauer's and Dostoyevskiy's thought.

I stand alone in this desolate post.

Well, 96800 posts to go.
We will get there, one day.
Post number 1 was submitted April 30, 2002
Post number 3200 was submitted October 6, 2006
Difference 1620 days (almost 2 posts every day on average)

To get to 100,000 will take (at this rate) a further 48,400 days (or the date of 12th April 2139) - somehow, I don't think I'll be around to see that.

Do not be troubled, for there will be others to continue our work. And they will think of us upon posting that 100,000 th post, and the thread will have our names carved in it for all eternity. And then in the year 2139 people will study our posts to gain knowledge and wisdom from them, and we will know our effort has not been in vain.

Ah, I saw that one as a supporting film in the cinema when I was a kid...

Yes, there were actually such things as "supporting films" once. It was 15 years ago.

From Wikipedia:
"Cheese is a solid food made from the milk of cows, goats, sheep, and other mammals. The milk is curdled using some combination of rennet (or rennet substitutes) and acidification. Bacteria acidify the milk and play a role in defining the texture and flavor of most cheeses. Some cheeses also feature molds, either on the outer rind or throughout."
:D

Do you know that when making cheese they put a square shaped piece of it in a round shaped container. And after some time the square shaped piece of cheese moulds itself and becomes a circle shaped piece of cheese.
Amazing...

Cheese, my friend, is what drives modern industry.  With the abolition of slavery, the bourgeousie have had to look to alternative sources of cheap labour.  Every year, 1000's of Edams, Cheddars and Bries die in captivity, worked to the very limits of their lives.  This must stop, dear comrades!  Turn on your tormentors, and free yourself to a life of green pastures and refrigerated landscapes! :D

Just like a good Stilton. :D

Lest we forget that bacteria is good for you - sometimes.

And with respect, Edam cheeses can die in captivity for all I care - Cheddar and Brie are made to be eaten (on a crusty French loaf with a glass of Claret).

Not to mention the suffering of cheese that was grinded to death.
Every time I see a pizza with melted cheese screaming from hot ketchup burns, only to be divulged by a fat capitalist, the determination to fight for my cheese brethren grows stronger.

CHEESES OF THE WORLD, UNITE!!!

Now we need an anthem of rebellion...something between 'Manowar' and 'The Laughing Cow'.  Actually, Manowar will do just fine...they have rebellion AND cheese!

Uhm... I'm not that much familiar with Manowar stuff, so I'll leave that to you.
When it comes to cheese, Manowar wrote the whole friggin' history on it.
