It's synthpop, yet very intriguing and dynamic. I'm sure you've heard the song Video Killed the Radio Star, that was like their one big hit. But they have a lot better songs than that, in fact if you guys are keeping up with my Top 25 songs that AREN'T Iron Maiden you'll see them very soon.

They only had two albums (well three if you count when they merged with Yes and made a mind-blowingly album). But their second album didn't really live up to their first... A few hits and misses. But their first album is how Powerslave is to Iron Maiden. With Age of Plastic you get the original Buggles feel.

So I wanna know, when you guys aren't listening to metal.... What are you listening to?
Music wise, early Punk (like SLF/Clash/Stranglers/etc.), some stuff from bands like Radiohead and Muse and off course Floyd. And some Level 42 or even Faithless. As for Buggles, I remember them from first time round - I really did not like them then and that aint about to change. :D

So I finally watched a World Cup rugby game.
Where's the New Zealand hockey team? I need an ego boost.
Damn did we get shredded.

I think almost everyone expected Canada to get shredded this game, the thing that pisses me off is France losing to Tonga. As a top tier team they easily could have won that game and in turn Canada would have finished third and not fourth. It might not sound like a big deal but as a big rugby fan its painful to see how small rugby is here in Canada, a third place finish would have got us more funding and more/better international matches leading up to the next world cup. I guess its are own fault for drawing with japan but man do I wish the french weren't such pussies against Tonga. Just had to get that off my chest since only a few of my mates watch rugby :innocent:. Now I hop on the English bandwagon.

On another note I'v found my self listening to less and less metal these days, Maiden,Iced Earth,Sabbath and Bodom are the four I still listen to frequently. Other then that I've just been exploring other kinds of music.

That's France for you. If they play like that in the quarters, they'll lose. I want France to be good against us - and lose, not be crap.

No unfortunately, Starblind and Lord of Light. My top one is Good Mourning/Black Friday by Megadeth. Most underrated metal masterpiece ever.

I've been listening to a lot of Metallica of late and realised something. Although I have, over the years, flirted between "Kill 'em All", "Puppets" and "And Justice" as being my favourite Metallica album, I have come to the ultimate decision that "...And Justice For All" is their very best album. It is their "Seventh Son" or their "Heaven and Hell". There is not one bad song on the album at all. Masterpiece.
