Lemons are good for seasoning but it's very hard to eat them. If you eat to many your teeth get really sensitive. But Lemon seasoned on fish...  Delicious

I love to eat fish. Trout was formerly my favorite. But then I had Salmon for the first time. I love Salmon grilled to perfection with lemon and Cajun seasoning. My mouth is already watering! Also Salmon sushi is pretty good. Sour, but good. Tilapia is also good, I've never had it at a restaurant though, always homemade. I also had Swordfish in San Francisco over the bay. I thought it tasted a lot like steak. It was very good. And I've had Catfish once. Cod fish is very common. Isn't Cod usually bread battered? I'm not a fan of bread battered fish but I've had some good bread battered cod. I usually stay away from that though.

In Norway cod is usually boiled rather than battered. The typical side serving is potatoes and your preferred choice of vegetable stew.

Myself, I am a big fan of trout - especially the trout I catch myself  :D I like to prepare it as follows: Cover both sides of the fish with wheat flour. Put salt, pepper and a little butter inside the fish, and then cook it in a frying pan with plenty of butter. Also add some sour cream in the pan. When the fish is done, turn down the heat and let the remaining sour cream absorb the fat that has dripped from the fish. That mix is brilliant on the side.

If in the wilderness, serve with "lefse". If at home, serve with potatoes and cucumber in thin slices.

Out here it varies by where you go. A few weeks ago I had breaded cod with chips (french fries). I've been fishing before, but never caught a fish. :( I've never heard of Trout prepared like that, sounds like too much butter for my tastes though. It's also been ages since I've had any trout period.

Well I guess since it is fried the butter melts into the fish. I don't really mind that.
