Just barely tipsy, not enough to post in the Drunk Thread.

It was OK, I've had better parties and worse. For a while it seemed like it was really picking up, but in the end, there just weren't enough people there. All in all, it was a good time, not great, but not bad either.

Will there be Powerslave?

No, the only Maiden song that got played while I was there was Fear of the Dark. The playlist was like the entire party - good, not great. Too heavy on the hair metal factor, in my opinion. There's always going to be a focus on hair metal with this kind of party, and that's alright, but while usually it's something like 60/40, tonight it was more like 80/20.

Fear of the Dark is my least favourite Iron Maiden album, sorry Foro. It's just full of bad songs. Some great songs, but there are 5-6 songs I just can't stand.

The X Factor is SO much better. Incredible album. Took years to fully appreciate.

There are 2 songs that I like on that album. I think that is enough to qualify as a bad album.

I'm glad to hear that. I still don't think It's grown on me completely.

Hey, I can think of a few people for whom it is their favourite album. Not mine, but it's in the top 4. I can't remember what the other ones are due to beer. BNW is #1.

My top 4 would be something along the lines of
Killers
Piece Of Mind
AMOLAD
Seventh Son

I'd like to think that one day X Factor will join those ranks. :)

The X factor is definitley in my top three, might be my favorite album but I can't decide if Seventh Son, The X factor, or TNOTB is my favorite album. TNOTB has become a favorite of mine for the past few months because I've started to appreciate Gangland and Total Eclipse.

Gangland is one of the most underrated songs by Maiden, and one of my favorites.

I love how one moment this thread is about sports, then food, then politics, then music!

I still need to work on the Blaze years. My favs are:

SSOASS
AMOLAD
POM
DOD

This is a little off topic, but since when did we have a topic? Does anyone remember the classic era of Spongebob? Like before Hillenberg stepped down?
