Here's a question, perhaps for someone more technologically minded than me: Why, no matter how well I look after them, have the last 5/6 pairs of earphones I've had all broken within a couple of months of use, with it being the right ear failing every single time? Another set bit the dust this evening.
Happens to me all the time. There are a few places where they can break. If you take the fuzz off the bud or whatever cover you have on it and look at the actual speaker, there are two wires connecting the speaker to the chord. If one of those wires break there wont be sound. Both wires have to be touching this metal part on the back of the speaker. There can also be a problem with the male end but I'm not sure how that works.

Sometimes spending the cash on a good set is worth the money.  My son bought a pair of $50 sony's and paid $15 for the 12 or 24 (I don't recall which) replace them no matter what warranty.  They sound great, have been through hell and back and still work well-- probably about 6 months old so far...

Bulgarian Iron Maiden concert is cancelled! This is the first time I heard that a Iron Maiden concert is cancelled due to low ticket sales.

So probably no way to fix that without a minuscule soldering iron? But I don't understand why they're breaking in the first place, it's not like I use them while sky-diving. Maybe I should stop listening to Manowar...

The price of the set isn't the issue for me, the last few of my broken ones have cost at least £30, but maybe hunting out a warranty that'll replace them is the answer.

I just buy another pair, but I know there is a way to fix it. Perhaps WikiHow can help there.

Not till Monday :D

My new flip-mat shipped! That's a gaming grid, with wet-dry erase, so I can mark walls, doors, etc. Pretty awesome, I'm really excited for it.
