Thanks for the input CFH, much appreciated.

Listening to some early Samson with Bruce. I actually think that I would'nt recognize him if I listened to a samson track witout knowing it, he sounds so different. Not so much raw as it is different.

All I can say is: Black Ops.

I never got into online, and ever since I bought the PS3 I don't even think about playing games on my sucky PC even if they're free, so I'm not gonna play that. How is it?

I really like it, but I'm a shitty player. I only play 2 games: forza and COD. I'm not good at either but I have fun.

You you haven't played REAL games until you've played the Atari 2600! Actually, being born in 1975, I grew up on those old systems and still love to play them. It also helps me appreciated newer and better graphics on all the next gen systems. I remember when I went from the Nintendo to the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis and then to the Playstation and Nintendo 64 and so on and how exciting it was to see better graphics. Even though graphics still do get better, it's not as extreme as it was back then and I don't think younger generations appreciate it quite the same way.

Had a 2600 and 7200, and an Oddesy. Have a SNES in a box somewhere. I even have one of those atari games that's a controller w a bunch of games.  I like tha I can download the old games on my xbox and Wii.  I have pac man, dig dug, defender, excite bike.. Woohoo!!

So I decided to listen to Stargazer for the first time not on youtube.

I think I'm going to use my remaining 8 hours of spotify this month on it and then go buy Rising. Awesome. What do you guys think is the meaning behind the story in the song, I've seen some people say it's a religious thing which would fit Dio? Maybe?

Tomorrow will take us away
Far from home
No one will ever know our names
But the bards' songs will remain
Tomorrow will take it away
The fear of today
It will be gone
Due to our magic songs

Still got last night's concert in my head.

Stargazer is about the foolishness of belief. He who watches the sky doesn't know where he treads. And you can even interpret (with a hint of a stretch) to suggest that the greatest evil of all is religion.

It's easier to do that when you listen to Heaven and Hell. They say that life's a carousel...

Mine is actually getting used to Eddies. He knows who Eddie Trooper is and he also isn't scared a bit of the NOTB Eddie I have standing here.  :)

Cool.  I told my wife that our kid will be introduced to rock.

My thoughts are much like Dawkins in this regard.  Faith, as he defines it, the belief in that which is disproven, is the "root of all evil".
