Oh, he used to be 'the man' just cause he was massive ( and iconic).  But I think Ron Jeremy kinda took it to the next level.  He used marketing better, and became a name that people knew.
 
I was liking his style, especially the way he was walking -he was like a king, but two things:
1) Maybe he was massive, but his erection was not.
2) He was a kind of evil person (probably due to the cocaine); He was HIV positive and he knew it, yet he continued porn, without condom, of course.
He even had relation with the then Anal Queen, but good for her, he didn't transmit her his virus. Probably the above mentioned point #1 played its role in this.

I believe that as the game is based on Rugby Football Union (to give it's proper name), it probably just sounded better to simply call it American Football. I have no problem with the American game being called "football", I just hate using the phrase "soccer". ;)

Porn was actually movies back then. With a script, acting, and sometimes even a plot. No one is going to say those movies were Oscar-worthy, but at least they tried to make it entertaining.
