But the real question, Deano:

What did you think of TFF?

Honestly, I am not overly impressed with it. It IS growing on me but that in itself shows that it is not up to my expectations. Take AMOLOD for instance; that album, on the very first listen, forced me to love it right away. There was never any question. The same can be said for DoD and BNW... this is the first album since the return of Bruce and Adrian that I have not gotten that feeling right away. I will post in the song ranking for TFF as soon as I can get a definite order established for preferences of the tracks. I AM glad that it is doing so well commercially and that it has apparently motivated the band to put out at least one more before the end however.

Haha. Btw what's your favourite track on it Deano?

I assume you mean SIT (if you meant St Anger then I have to tell you that there is no favorite track): The Lonliness of the Long Distance Runner is my favorite track from SIT and remains one of my favorite songs from Maiden all time.

No no I wasn't about SIT, sorry for not being clear. I was refering to TFF. (and I agree with you 200%, St. Anger sucks indeed.)

Starblind is my favorite track from the new album; it is truly (other than perhaps Coming Home) the only song on the album that grabbed me from the start.

Love Starblind!  My fav off the album.

Now, LC and I are of two minds on this one: The Talisman.  He liked it first off, but not as much over time.  It took me some time to really get into that one, but I really enjoy it now.  Love that whole "desperate attempt to sale to a new land, fighting the ocean and weather the whole way, victory with-in grasp, dieing as the coast approaches" bit.

I do like that song pretty well also; now that I'm compiling, it comes in solidly somewhere in the middle of the list.

I guess our favorite Frenchman is now Will_I_Am?

Yeah!  I took me a day or two to figure that out myself.  I remember him asking me a question and I'm like "wait, who is this?"

no______5! Not too many people remember that perhaps.

Thank you and how have you been and where are you now?

Man I'm so happy to find you back, how many time you'll be loged in today??

I have a reason to ask  :devil2:

It's been an awesome time AWESOME.
Now less awesome, but not that bad.
I'm in Dubai now, if you pass from here, you have to call me

Well, I'm actually getting ready to take off for the weekend but I will be returning Monday.... roughly 10 hours behind you I guess.

Dubai is pretty great, at least that's my perception from the short amount of time I spent there. I flew over Dubai recently but I doubt I'll be back there anytime soon.

Got it, now check yours.  :)

Well, I'm leaving now for a couple of days but I'll talk to you Monday. Get some skiing in over the weekend if you can.  :D

Virtual XI is a seriously good record and I actually prefer it, on occasions, to The X Factor.

And St Anger is a damn good album as well.

I aint kidding either. :D

Leave Albie alone. All the early club-sized Maiden gigs from the early 80s have permanently damaged both his hearing and sanity.

:o Albie your user rating is close to 300...

What about changing your avatar in two days when you'll reach there??   :D
