After tons and tons of endless discussions, people still rely on pictures with "hidden" messages. Bravo, Maiden PR team!

If they want to they could change a lot of the setlist. With a tour beginning next summer they could find the time to rehearse in may. Steve touring now doesn't mean they can't learn different songs. They're not shit musicians.

And all the other songs on the central circular stained glass (Sign of the Cross, For the Greater Good of God, Revelations, The Number of the Beast, etc.).

It is not as if they rehearse until much closer to the start of the tour... :rolleyes:

That being said, I do not think they would change anything to the setlist and, frankly, I do not know why they should as it works great. :D

I did not suggest that they are shit musicians. How did you infer that? :confused:
 
Watch them do something like a countdown where they show a different window every day. On the last day an Alexander the Great Eddie is revealed and the tour gets announced.

Interesting idea! That would put us on target for a Monday reveal. Be interesting to see what they do here.

I bet whoever does their marketing watches this forum, and is waiting for the inevitable freakout.
 
There was someone on the fanclub forum who said they are announcing on monday. I fully believe that now.

Of course you didn't. I said that, they are great musicians so they can learn new songs rather quickly if they want to change the setlist. I don't think they will. But my point is that a British Lion tour and a book tour going on now or in february won't stop it.

They don't usually rehearse that far in advance for tours - if they kick off in July of next year, they'll probably rehearse for 2-3 weeks in May/June. Plenty of time to swap out songs that do not rely on physical props.

Personally, I'm surprised The Clansman artwork isn't included anywhere here. The return of that song was a pretty big deal, and the artwork would be instantly recognizable. I could see them dropping it for something else.

There's a good chance they all might be doing something else together in, say, Paris early next year though. But that's just speculation... :innocent:

...and also Steve said they might be working on an album in early 2019 from an interview back in May or June of this year.... :D
 
The only song for me that could be dropped is FTGGOG, sure it makes sense in the setlist. But when i was in Stockholm at that show. It didn't really seem to fit. It is slow, and dragged on in my opinion. They could swap that out for another war song (BTATS please!) and maybe swap out a war song (2MTM) for another religion themed song, or just a huge deep cut (SIASL or something)

Maybe they will make up for the lack of SIT on the first leg with at least one song that isn't Wasted Years or HCW.

My secret wish is they play the Alchemist. One of the better songs of the reunion period. and a really fast quick rocker.
 
I wonder if the empty larger stained-glass frames will be references to the places they're playing? I screwed around with the image's contrast and brightness and managed to expose a little bit along the bottom of each one... it's pretty pixelated but nothing jumps out at me as being existing artwork, and I swear the pane just to the right of the center baphomet Eddie circle has a soccer ball in it... (on the far left below)
