in regards to FTTB. since i have floor seats, do i just have to enter on their website when it becomes available? i think i read that right. how long before the shows are FTTB draws announced?

The capacity is 1000 people according to Wikipedia. I highly doubt that they would sell 1000 tickets through FC in less than 2 hours.
There's no way they put a thousand people in that pit.

Agreed - the pit at Budweiser Stage can hold 250 people at most. Pit tickets appear to be sold out for Saturday, but still available for Friday.

Well, I have some money put on side, because I expected that this year Maiden won't be in Europe this year and I'm working for 3 months as a part of my UNI (Internship).
I won't miss a Maiden tour from now on. The sands of time for them are running low.

But real talk, there are some quite cheap return tickets from both Venezia and Zagreb (400-500 Euros), so I can afford it. Anything more is too much for me.

No I didn't get any tickets yet for Indy. I was hoping to be able to score a pit ticket once the general public tickets go on sale. That's what I did last time for Maiden in Chicago and it worked out for me.
I've never been to this venue in Indy, so I honestly have no idea on the likelihood of the availability of tickets when the general sale starts. If you don't think there will be much left, then I'd be totally down to go with whatever the best seats you can get right now are. I'll be going solo to this show, so the company would be preferred.
Let's shoot for pit tickets then, might get lucky when general goes on sale. I'll check again tomorrow at 10 to see if they release any new tickets.
