Janick is a full member of the band. He's an important contributor to the band's post-80's sound and wrote some great songs.

I watched maiden in 96 and 98 and with 3 guitar players they were more contundent. I can remember think in 99 how the strong they soundedThe Janick hate got boring several decades ago but I do somewhat admire the dedication of the vocal minority who just can't seem to let this one go. Since he already lives rent free in your heads however, I suggest that the next time you see them in concert (if any of you actually bother) simply wear an patch over your right eye and a plug in your right ear, that way you won't see or hear him and can live in your happy little 80s nostalgia bubble.
