Janick is one of my favorite songwriters in the band and particularly his post-reunion output is as close to flawless as possible with the only blemish being the far too happy sections in Montségur. Despite having (co-)written so many fantastic songs, the 5 I mentioned reign supreme over the rest in my opinion. Ghost Of The Navigator was the runner-up that didn't make it because of the others being even better.

I totally agree. It's puzzling to me how often his abilities as a songwriter are not recognized.
