Someone on the Megadeth forums pointed that out, I thought it was really cool! There are actually a number of familiar faces on there, or at least creatures that look like they're loosely based on existing characters/people. The guy to the left of the A star looks a little bit like Gene Simmons (mostly because of the hair jutting down in a V-shape and his long tongue).

Also, Anthrax's mascot (the Not-Man) is hidden by the band's logo, but you can see his jaw jutting out.
