Iron Maiden voted greatest metal band of all time ahead of Metallica

At the end of the day the sample wasn't that big and we do not know the exact results. How many votes did each band get?

We have to remember that anyone who still regularly listens to a rock radio station is likely on the wrong side of 40 and given that it's a UK station, the listeners will be more susceptible to voting for Maiden over anyone else.

I should point out that I do sometimes listen to Planet Rock in the car.
