Ancient Mariner
I haven't seen these ones yet. They're old, but not that known on internet, if not mistaken. Please forgive me if you know any of them.

For the lucky Spanish speaking bastards an interview with Bruce from 1983!! (please summarize ;) )

*laughing my ass off!*

And here an interview with Bruce from 1990:

 Who the hell is that? Janicks younger brother perhaps?

No clue who that chap is. Looks like someone from the Maiden crew with a wig??
Perhaps Janick wasn't feeling too well and the Maiden lads were in for a joke! Hahaha :)

It's a guy called Tony Newton, bass player from the band Dirty Deeds, who supported Maiden on The X Factour, VXI tour, EdHuntour and BNW tours.

Links to a couple of interviews with him (with mentions of Maiden):

Re: Iron Maiden TV interviews / shows

Aha, it's him! I have seen him, opening for Maiden back in 1998!
Thanks for the links. :)

Re: Iron Maiden TV interviews / shows

I have seen a few of these interviews before...

The bottom 2. The first one, Dave has these huge glasses on and his hair pulled back, with a ball cap on (sorry, that's obviously a female observation )...and when I watched it, the words weren't moving with their mouths!

The other one was like, in Sweden or something, and the hosts were drunk off their asses. Janick and Bruce did all the talking and Dave said like 2 words! I believe it was from 1990 or '91, not '92 Forostar  ;)

Re: Iron Maiden TV interviews / shows

Apologies if this link has been circulated already, but one of Forostar's YouTube recommendations contained a link to the following video, which I have not seen before, of a German TV "playback" performance of "Wasted Years."  Apparently, the band had gotten sick of lip-synching, and turned the whole performance into a mockery.  Pretty funny.

I can imagine you haven't seen it but it's basically the most famous Maiden TV-appearance ever, so most people must have seen this, I thought. :)

It is featured on an official Iron Maiden release (VHS), called "12 Wasted Years" (released in 1987).

@Powergirl81: In 1991 or 1990 the videoclip "From Here To Eternity" didn't exist yet. ;-)
Small chance it could be 1993 though, but I guess the band wasn't in the best mood to do such funny TV shows .

Re: Iron Maiden TV interviews / shows

 , that clip was great!  Bruce reminded me a lot of Janick for a while there.  :P

Re: Iron Maiden TV interviews / shows

I stand corrected again, Forostar, thanks  I assume wrong a lot of the time!  :P

corfedhick: I have seen that video before, and H almost looks pissed when they xut the end of the song off! But it was his song, so I guess I understand why. If my song got cut up I would be mad too. But everyone else had fun with it  :ok:

Finally we'll have some solid info. Still hoping I'll be able to catch one show in England and one in Sweden, but I doubt it.

Nice! Thanks :)

I think it should be 1989. They have a year off, Adrian isn't out of the band yet and there's no talk of Bruce's solo career yet.

He says Piece of Mind is his favourite studio album, so I guess that's Steve's favourite 80's studio album then (at least at that time he thought so). ;)

The dude who put it up on YouTube also has this Maiden live track (never seen this song!) -->

For your viewing pleasure, this guy http://www.youtube.com/kanietzsche

recently put on many Maiden and Bruce live clips. In case you didn't know Mexico 1992, this is a very energetic show, check it out! At some point Bruce is singing which a big sombrero on his head. Very funny! Direct link:

Enjoy!   :)

And here a chance to see wat Eddie looked like on No Prayer On The Road (and during which song it came up!):

Iron Maiden played in Guadalajara (oct.´92), Mexico and the day after, Nicko gave a 2 hour drum clinic. Here he mentions some of his influences.

I have a question about a You Tube clip I saw earlier this year. It was some sort of "orchestrated" version of Number Of the Beast! Actually, it was a bunch of guys and Dave had this sweet Hawaiian shirt on!

Something called "Trumpet Of the Beast?" or... "Rhythm Of the Beast?" you guys know what I'm talking about? I'd like to see that again, cuz it was way cool! there were trumpets, horns, and all sorts of stuff. I think Nicko was with Dave, if I'm not mistaken.
