I thought about something,

The stage theatrics (backdrops in general) for AMOLAD tour weren't big - especially after the DOD tour (perfect for it). The theme was fitting. I know BNW (early 2000's after all, although it could have been better) and we can say the same about the 2005 & 2008 tours (expected), but now it's a bit odd, thinking about it. They really started to change things since TFF tour.

Andy Taylor said in an FC magazine interview about a decade ago that the band's fortunes really changed after around 2005. He wasn't very specific but it sounded like he meant their revenues and overall touring income, and their USA popularity..

It certainly seems like from the 2008 and 2010 tours onwards the production starts to get bigger than the early part of the reunion. Maybe it was simply due to having more money to play with.
