It was playing with the fact that Saap's statement was, as Black Wizard said, very extreme. I suggested Saap to make it more extreme and then placed a well-known albeit relatively mild statement next to it pretending that they are of the same extreme nature to play along with the humorous nature of Saap's hyperbole by understating it.
