Three.I thought there were two songs after this on ten votes. Why weren't they eliminated?

Well in my case it's partially imprinting (first thing by Maiden I ever heard was a Hammersmith '86 bootleg given to me by a classmate on two C60 tapes, and this is obviously the first song after the Blade Runner intro); besides, like much of the album it has a kind of a dreamy feeling that's not really typical for them. I like the overall sci-fi atmosphere, and I like the guitars. Also, unlike later stuff I've been whining about, it kinda develops and flows effortlessly. That's about it I guess. The love for Caught Somewhere in Time amidst people whining about Steve’s repetition continues to baffle me.
The chorus is not one of his better melodies and is just the same phrase repeated again and again. So is the PRE chorus. The riffs are repeated about twice as often as they should be.
It’s the 7th best track on the album.

But you said four songs would be eliminated each time during the finals?Three.
Yup, I got that, just didn't expect they'd be apparently tied on all of those:I meant that three songs were tied with 10 votes each, not two like @Black Wizard said.
Got it, thanks. No problem. I mentioned that early on in the thread.
If 5 songs were tied with 10 votes and no songs had more than 10 votes, then I'd have to use those rules. Also, during Top 10.
Excellent sound, great melodies, great soloing. The rhythm section shines in the original mix as well, less so on the remasters. The repetition and the weak chorus are what keep it from being truly top tier.
Exactly this. The "repetition" brigade giving songs like this a pass really drives me nuts. It's fine when it's CSIT or SSOASS, but it's not fine when it's a newer song, because reasons. The love for Caught Somewhere in Time amidst people whining about Steve’s repetition continues to baffle me.

Eliminated after Round 32:
Judas Be My Guide - 11 votes
CSIT doesn't have a long slow opening section. Long slow opening sections work better on epics like Talisman and EOTC, not No More Lies.Every criticism of No More Lies (which I much prefer) applies to this song.
Ah, but it's fast, and not all meaningful like, and that means it's sufficiently macho to like it.The love for Caught Somewhere in Time amidst people whining about Steve’s repetition continues to baffle me.
