Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

A 1-hour career spanning documentary made by them, that's curious. The vote for the Top 20 Maiden songs will be interesting now. Will the interviews be new or old? Highlights from the band's career, let's see them.
Both reviews are very positive, but there is one line like ''age is starting to show''. In Maiden? What to say about the other old bands then...

And its true.

Mick Wall had a heart attack. There's a fundraiser below.

I saw this on social media from metal hammer. I didn't release the situation he was in. I've given a few bob. I hope this gives him some ease. Fucking hell :(

Everything comes from the tempo, from the drummer. And idk if it's because of him or the band, but Simon's tempos are not consistently fast for some songs. Steady, yes. The others are still great, well, Bruce, except for one song.
I mean its diferent than 1999 2008 or 2017. But i like the show they play the songs like its supose to. Yes except aces, sometimes

these t-shirts look shit

I’ve no problem dropping some coin on something decent but who decided to put the most bog standard Maiden designs that have already been done to death on these stupid oversized throw back to the 1990’s and the grunge era style shirts.

Like I can see why they're expensive, it's not a generic heat transfer print thing that's only mass produced by a machine. There's people actually spraying that stain and doing the distressing work etc.

Thst said they still look pretty bad and I certainly wouldn't buy one.

Yeah I actually really liked to see that part of the process as I have an interest in fashion in general, but I agree that they still look bad.

Here's my contribution from BBC World Service yesterday, where I was allowed to suggest a personal interest topic for discussion. The BBC brought in music journalist Ian Windwood to speak to me and host Julian Woricker about Maiden.

Starting from around 35 / 36 minutes:
