Interesting chords/key/musical ideas in maiden songs

The intro how the chord sequence goes from a standard maiden sound of B-G but then the next time round B-G#

Or the main riff is a kind of standard metal thing the first time round with the whole E F#G progression thing but then the next time round is suddenly using Eb out of nowhere.

Very different for them.

The word is that To Tame A Land borrows heavily from Isaac Albéniz’s Asturias (Leyenda). I had to look it up, couldn't remember the name of the song. So maybe this alleged 'borrowing' accounts for the different vibes.

Yah, there's much I dislike about that song musically but that bit always hooked me. I think Gates of Tomorrow and the other filler one who's name escapes me do the same. I dislike most of the tune and then ooooh, something catchy.

I'd say the I, bVII, V, bVi progression in both Run Silent Run Deep and No Prayer for the Dying. Fun Fact....Kim Wilde's cover of You Keep Me Hangin' On uses the same progression.
