I would be pretty sad, honestly, if they accepted the appointment to the RRHOF while they're still active. They've made a bunch of waves about not wanting it.
I wouldn't have a problem with it. My issues with the HOF aside I feel they deserve the recognition (not that they or the fans need it). I suspect Paul and Dennis would not mind at all. They may actually refuse it though as they've yet to acknowledge both times they were nominated in any way. Unlike Rob Halford who gushed about their nominations and how wonderful it was to be considered.I would be pretty sad, honestly, if they accepted the appointment to the RRHOF while they're still active. They've made a bunch of waves about not wanting it.

They (Bruce) don't think they'll get in so they try and save face by saying they don't want it anyway.
Sadness imminent.I would be pretty sad, honestly, if they accepted the appointment to the RRHOF while they're still active. They've made a bunch of waves about not wanting it.
IMO such comments are insincere. They (Bruce) don't think they'll get in so they try and save face by saying they don't want it anyway.
making a stand against the music establishment.
... I ... I don't, which one?I instantly remembered the anti-establishment @JudasMyGuide meme
You mean you've never heard of "Mr. Rock and Roll" George Michael??Who’s that George type above Warren Zevon?
Maiden is a lock to finish in the top 5. It's my understanding the top 5 get one ballot towards the actual voting. So the fan vote is not entirely meaningless. If they get it my guess it will be like Priest and be a "Musical Excellence" inductionYou can vote for Iron Maiden (and four other artists/bands) by clicking this link and registering your e-mail until the 28th of april :
