Fortunately, we have to say here, although these people are producing utter crap, they have no harmful intentions (no, not even Slipknot- they want to make money and make those who like their music happy).
Likewise, you could watch "Rock In Rio" and think "If Bruce screamed "Revolution!" during Fear Of The Dark, Rio would be ashes and dust". We know this will never happen, and it won't happen with Britney or Slipknot.

Those two little sluts will never get such a big fanbase.

I'm thinking who will buy their music; not having heard their music perhaps I'm not in a position to comment, but I'd say that their music would target teenagers, particularly girls. But having got this type of media coverage, will any American parents let their children buy this music, given its underlying theme? It's quite different from 'gangsta rap', which critics say promotes gun crime and the like, but in my opinion does little harm, and is very good music, again in my opinion (don't shred me for liking hip-hop please!). Anyway, I can't see it getting very far in the American charts - perhaps it will die a quick death. I don't know about the rest of you, but at thirteen i wasn't exactly completely informed on racial issues, and I'm pretty sure I hadn't formed my opinion on the matter; I think that these girls have been 'brainwashed' as it were into believing this nonsense by their parents, and are being manipulated to promote these beliefs without being comepletely knowledgeable or informed on the matter.
