SMX I'm sorry to say that you have not seen "Sea Of Madness", since Maiden dropped it from the setlist (for good) on January 9th, 1987. The same goes for other people if they have witnessed the Somewhere on Tour in North America, unless they were in Hampton or Landover.

See SITL-bootleg source.

But man, you've seen Caught Somewhere in Time and Stranger in a Strange Land.

I doubt we are ever going to witness these songs (again). Especially CSIT.

Nothing yet has matched it... it was a crazy gig with everyone chanting outside and ive already explained extensively the trouble i went to to get there. It was my first show and i got practically at the front in what was an amazing venue because of its cozy size. Then got to finally see in person the greatest band ive ever known only to have confirmed by force how amazing they are. We were all sad to have sweet savage instead of heaven and hell and so i was in a good half an hours silence for Dio through their set.

Wicker man opening like RiR and kicked our asses then straight into a load of punchy songs and the then new El Dorado before my favourite live song Dance of Death that was as amazing as id hoped. A section of two amazing songs from AMOLAD straight after and i was in heaven... the tribute blood brothers to Dio was nice especially in that show but after the three songs before it i was so dumbstruck that it passed me right by. I was completely out of it through the second half of the show (no drugs or alcohol required) and then floated back to my hotel after the show.

All the shows since ive been chasing the dragon but never had the same Maiden high again  :(  i neeeeeeeeed it

Guess I'm one of the lazy ones, but I've been to 5 shows.

World Slavery Tour 1985
The X Factor Tour 1996
Gimmie Ed Till I'm Dead 2003
A Matter of Life and Death 2006
The Final Frontier 2010

I saw the same set. It was. But it was utterly missing Paschendale and Brighter Than A Thousand Suns. Lucky Texans got both.  <_<

Have you seen Paschendale live yet? I'm afraid I don't have much time to see my first Maiden gig.

Nope. It was still in rotation when they came to Denver, and we got Dance of Death instead.
