how du u think nicko playd on the old songs. I think he did great. in some song he didnt do so great. like in remember and another life.. but phantom was perfect.

well nicko does alright on clive's songs...on some like phantom of the opera as you mentioned he plays em fucking great! but on most clive songs i would prefer clive himself rather than nicko...although nicko is a better drummer by far...his drum lines dont fit in as well into the older material as clive's did; it sometimes seems that nicko is trying to make the song more complex as to fit his own playing level, but this doesnt always mean that it sounds better. many times it was clive's simplicity that made his drumming sound so awesome.
 
I think Clive was played faster then Nicko does.
But Nicko is a great bass pedal guy, hehe. Wickerman and Where Eagles Dare
