HELP NEEDED! Iron Maiden Audience Profile Survey

Howdy,

I'm new to the forum and I'm really hoping you guys can help me out. I teach A level Media Studies at a college and part of the course requires students to make a music video. Before they can do the fun bit though, they have to do some audience profiling in order to make sure they're targetting the right person.

I made a survey to demonstrate how to go about collecting data. I wanted to show a live working example, and so, I chose my favourite band: Maiden!

If any of you have any spare time to fill out 10  questions (or just the ones you can be bothered to do), then it'd be really useful for me and the students. It's not the best survey, but it'll give them ideas for their own.

Cheers!

:edmetal: SURVEY IS CLOSED! Thanks for taking part! :edmetal:

Edit: I should mention that none of your data will be sold on or any of that nonsense. It's completely anonymous and the results will only be shared with 20 college students. No personal data is required!

By the way, if you think the survey is a load of rubbish - then you're more than welcome to say so!
Some of you guys have already started to fill this in - cheers! The more the merrier though - so please give thelink a click!

As a college student myself  :smartarse: may i jut say, your awesome!    seriously i hope your students are thankfull and who knows, they may yield to the power of the beast  :)
either way ive finished the survey and hope everything runs like clockwork. Im sure we'd be interested to see the final results if theres no legal limitations imposed by the college.

I've had an incredible response to this survey from the community - over 30 people filled it out! If it took you around 3 minutes each, that's an hour and a half you guys have spent helping me out. Thanks for taking the time - I really appreciate it. Thanks for the kind words too, I do the best I can!

This data will help our media students understand audience profiling and there is no way I could have provided this resource without you - so once again - THANK YOU!

Plus, you've also told them why they need to fire whatever they're listening to out of their MP3 players and load them up with Maiden tunes!

The results...

I don't want to post the results from the last three questions, as the responses are detailed and personal. I did say it would be anonymous, so I would like to respect people's privacy.

However, the other data was multiple choice data that cannot be traced to specific users. I'll collate that and post it up here after I've sifted though it.

Thanks again and UP THE IRONS!

your welcome and if the later point is directed to my request i understand that part. mine in particular is a bit mushy XD
i was more referring to if the students were interpreting our answers and their general response to the topic... which is why i asked about the colleges rules in relation to the students work being protected (regardless im sure we'd be interested in seeing how what weve said has been used) Yah never know, like you said we could convert a few  :)
