Wow. Rocket Queen finished at #4 on my personal list as well.

The best part of RQ live was always that tacky rap Axl would do.

Still a great performance, though. Probably my favorite Rocket Queen.

Civil War.

Estranged is the best song left. It is better than Civil War on every level; lyrically and musically.

GNR Top Ten:
1:
2:
3: Civil War
4: Rocket Queen
5: Paradise City
6: Sweet Child O' Mine
7: Welcome To The Jungle
8: Nightrain
9: You Could Be Mine
10: Patience

Want to wrap this up early so I can start the next game.

I voted for Estranged, but I meant to vote for November Rain.

Ah, the battle of the piano ballads. Funny how the song that took way less time to compose came out much better than the one that took nearly a decade.

I'm torn... without wanting to go into "best" vs "favourite" again >.>

I adore both songs, and think November Rain is actually the better written of the two, has far wider appeal and that awesome build up - it's an iconic song for many reasons and certainly evokes more emotion in me... BUT, at the moment I will not listen to it for certain reasons, and so if I was to vote on which song I would rather put in a playlist it would definitely be Estranged. That's not to say that Estranged is not a good song in it's own right, or even an excellent song... and yet despite these things and feeling that way about November Rain - I also don't want to vote against Estranged >.<

Which is my favourite? I actually can't decide.. majority of the prefential differences come down to mood and I actually don't think I can distinguish between which song I like more. If you threw Coma into this mix it would be even harder >.< I don't think I can separate the 3!

My top three:
3) Estranged
2) November Rain
1) Civil War

Think it will be turned on its head.

This is my GNR top two so I'm happy. Estranged wins for me just because of all the different parts and how they fit together. I like how it doesn't really have a set verse or chorus and the structure is all over the place but it still comes together. The fact that they managed to do that without creating a mess is really impressive.

That and it's just a really powerful song. But so is November Rain.
