I want to try and change the colour on my Jackson X series Adrian Smith sig, to a more dark yellowy colour, the neck on mine is very pale. I am hoping to get the look on the 50th anniversary model (images provided) does anyone have any tried, true, simple and cheap ways to achieve this.

I've done several guitar modifications myself, and it's been a very satisfying experience! I remember how changing the pickups on my Strat transformed my sound.
