I heard Guitar Hero has quit making more games. Just wait for anything new on the Rock Band online store if we are lucky to get more. What would be better if they remade the already released songs for rock band 3.

The plastic guitar phase seems to have died. I really had no problem with it, my son and his friends got introduced and discovered some good music because of these games and I really tend to doubt any of them would have taken the time to learn a real instrument (they spend most of their time playing football). A Maiden game with some of the classic (and newer) stage shows would have been cool with all the Eddies coming out.

I think it's great. It helped a lot of kids(including me 
) get into some great tunes. Its even helped some of my friends, who only listened to rap, get into rock music. I think its helped this generation of kids a lot, and if a maiden guitar hero or rockband came out I would definitley buy it.

Another suggestion for the game would be to throw in other metal/rock bands like Yes, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc. to give some diversity to the game and make the track list longer.
