Clue 4: Clue 1 (the map) points to a song by the same name as the Maiden song you’re looking for, released by another band on their self-titled debut album. Members of this band have played in bands that have inspired Maiden musically. Another band, whose origins can be located on the map in Clue 1, also have a song with the same name as the Maiden song in question. Curiously, the name of these two bands can be written using only four different letters in total.

The maps show a route "from Washington across to California", which is a line from Asia's song "Wildest Dreams".

Clue 2: The song's subject matter appears in several Maiden lyrics. Still, this song does stand out from most of these, seeing as it comes at this subject matter from a somewhat different angle.
Dreams obviously inspired lots of Harris-penned Maiden songs, but unlike "Wildest Dreams", most often these dreams came in the form of nightmares (Number of the Beast, Infinite Dreams, Dream of Mirrors to name a few).

Clue 3: The song repeatedly describes a recurring situation, but also points to a change from the status quo.

Asia's 1982 debut album "Asia". Something of a supergroup, Asia had members whose CVs also include Wishbone Ash, Yes, King Crimson and Uriah Heep. Fellow prog-rockers Saga, hailing from Ontario, is the other band. They released both a song and an album named "Wildest Dreams" in 1987.
