True, maybe for this year is the (certain) documentary, but Rod mentioned more things for the fans in 2025 (''what we have throughout the whole year of our anniv'').

Wasn't Dave Lights interviewed? It think it's going to be about the band. The whole career? Idk, maybe small fragments. They've been recording it since 2021 (iirc), probably interviews with everyone involved over the years. Maybe about the history of the band - and the impact on the fans.

On the other hand, we still don't know of any Maiden releases this year. They usually release something every year, even if small, and we haven't really had a new live album since 2020 (unless you count the Beast Over Hammersmith live issue). I will admit that I had similar thoughts. Remember that for the first time the management had a YouTube video of a concert recording removed.
Metal bands make most of their money from physical products these days. That's not the problem.
But let's see, maybe we're worrying for nothing and something will be announced soon.

I don't think we can tell something is "certain" for this year apart from the forthcoming European tour. Yeah, Rod said they have prepared something special and many things out of the sleeve but (as we know) Maiden management said something like that many times in the past. They aren't the most creative ones in the world I reckon :) Who knows, even a reportedly created documentary is just an interpretation of random pictures from FB, nothing assured in fact.

Bruce got sick at the start of November: apparently he struggled a lot in Frankfurt on 4th November (I went to the Madrid gig on 2nd November and he sounded fine, although he complained loudly about the air conditioning). As a result, 3 gigs were cancelled (on 5th, 7th and 10th November). He went back to singing live on 12th November and the Dortmund gig was on 24th November, so although he sounds rough at the start of the show, I doubt he was “totally ill”. ;)

Yeah, also ME and NOTD, but I don't think the comparison is that fair. And Bruce sounds great to me. Nicko, fine enough.
