USA: 23/50. I heard of all of them, I just can't name them like this.
Europe: 47/47. Took me 90 seconds for 46 of them Almost forgot Cyprus

Nailed the States.

For Europe I missed San Marino, Malta, Vatican City and Liechtenstein, which, in my defence were pretty much impossible to see on the map, and Kosovo — a complete brain fart.
I could not figure out Moldova and I wasted a lot time on that odd white spot between Poland and Lithuania, which apparently was only there for that purpose.

Gonna give Africa a go. Not expecting good things.

6:20 to spare. Naming them is easy. I usually mix up some of the inland states in the Midwest (like Iowa, Missouri and Kansas) when I have to place them under time pressure. All border and coast states are piece of cake, as well as all with a characteristic shape.

I did not know that. Leftover from the break-up of the USSR, I'm guessing?

Scored just 31 on Africa. Missed at least 10 I should have known.

I got only 46 for Europe. For some reason I had forgotten about the existence of Monaco

41 out of 54 for Africa. Got all sizeable countries. Four of the missed ones were island states that I didn't even consider (Comoros, Seychelles, Mauritius and finally Sao Tome and Principe).

Got 11 of 12 in South America in about a minute and couldn't come up with Suriname.
38/49 on Asia. I knew most of the ones I missed, just too slow rifling through the memory banks.

Asia: Gave up with 47 countries in place and 6:22 left. The two I couldn't remember were Taiwan and Maldives.

Used 42 seconds to get 12 out of 12 for South America.

I've been a geography nut since I was a little kid so me doing well in these things is no surprise.

47/47 for Europe with 4:32 remaining. Luxembourg was the last one.
54/54 for Africa with 1:44 remaining. Burundi was the last one. Remembering Swaziland and South Sudan gave me the toughest time.

I'm looking for the other ones now.
