Damn this is tough.
You're so right about this album being so damned consistent. It needs more listens, but I've already sat one round out.
I am a big fan of Learn to Fly and will not be voting for that, so it's a matter of what's my number two.
And I think I am going to with Generator (although tomorrow it probably will be something else.)
And while I'm at it, I'll see if I can help get the debut promoted.
PS I'm happy you've got Everlong in there twice if that's all about keeping that one alive.

It is a grower I think. When I got it I would normally listen up to Aurora and turn it off after that, wasn't impressed by the rest at first. Had to revisit the 2nd half of the album, there are some gems, and it's almost as good as the first half. Even Headwires (Generally seen as the weakest song on the album) is pretty good I think. Even some of the singles were songs I wasn't so into when starting to get to know the band. Like Breakout.

Every song has 4 or 5 stars from me, except Live-In Skin which has 3. Deciding what to vote on has obviously been incredibly hard, and I'll be leaving this album alone when One By One joins. Also, I'd give Aurora another chance, up until last year (I think) Dave Grohl called it the best song he's ever written.

haha, I have no idea how that got there twice.

One By One has joined the battle!

Last three. Easily the weakest album, but it starts off really good, with some of the best Foo songs. However, it takes a pretty quick nosedive and starts to feel phoned in. It is probably their darkest and heaviest though.

Tired of You
Lonely As You
Come Back

I heard a demo of Come Back the other day, so much better than what is on the album. Would've been one of their best songs.

Disc One of In Your Honor has joined the battle! For the next three albums, I'll be including bonus songs. This album will have the 3 new songs from the Five Songs and a Cover EP, plus The Sign, which was a bonus track for some pressings of In Your Honor.

In Your Honor
Hell
Free Me
FFL

My very first Foo Fighters album. I played the shit out of this, and the rock disc is pretty good, but is a bit weak compared to others. Sounds like Dave wrote a few really awesome songs, and then wrote a bunch of filler to fit the double album concept. But despite the filler, it's got some of my favorite Foo tracks, DOA might be my #1 song.
