Here, it adds so much to the whole ''world of the album''. All details. You can imagine a story. The original cover (with IESF as a title) was a comic-like, not sure if it would have been good, but tying an album release with comics, I think he should have had a rich booklet or cover. What's up with these empty/black backgrounds for him and Maiden, surely it's not common in metal. The medallion is cool, but even the smallest background/drawing effects would have added something. Also, his fonts are always different for every album. Thanks.
Edit: for example:
Ragnarok - a bridge/screen art from the tour or the visuals from the video.
Many Doors - doors in the sky, something apocalyptic.
Rain - dark graveyard.
Resurrection Men - the stealing souls device.
Wounds - something ancient.
Eternity - something fantasy, ancient, the depths of the world.
Mistress - two figures.
Mirror - mystical mirror.
Shadow - something epic, battle in the sky.
Sonata - pure fantasy.
Btw, his comic book has some new different arts, why he didn't do it for the booklet...
