So many good ones...

Opening riffs from The Prisoner, Die With Your Boots On and 2 Minutes To Midnight
Every note of The Clairvoyant and Futureal
Verse section of Ghost Of The Navigator
Opening of Montsegur

Those are just my favorites at this moment, this kind of list changes daily of course. [!--emo&--]/headbang.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'headbang.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Would have to be Deja Vu
Holy crap when that main riff kicks in i lose it [!--emo&--]/headbang.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'headbang.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Ghost Of The Navigator (0:53). That riff kicks ass.

Could've made a LONG list, but I'll do that later.

i really like the bass riff on innocent exile i usually play it every day (to practise playing it good) and the guitar riff on no prayer for the dying (i talk about the song!) its fu%%%ing awesome!

Hallowed Be Thy Name after 2nd verse (it's charming...), then entire Wrathchild (perfect combination of bass, guitars and vocals), and main theme in Dance Of Death (this makes me think of how demons and sinners dance at the party in the hell)! [!--emo&--]/headbang.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'headbang.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Nothing beats the riff verse in Infinite dreams the 1st verse acoustic and then doubled by electric before the straight chords come in absolutely awesome also afraid to shoot strangers, to tame a land sign of the cross and also ROTAM and ill have to throw in transylvania

[!--QuoteBegin-Jack the Knife+Aug 1 2003, 01:23 AM--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(Jack the Knife @ Aug 1 2003, 01:23 AM)[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--] My personal favourites would have to be (since I can't narrow them down to one):

The intro riff in 'The Clansman'

That very metal-esque riff in 'Killers', can't remember the exact time, but I know it's part of the rhythm, seeing as how it's played underneath the solo.

The main riff in 'The Trooper', because it's so catchy.
I do agree with you it is a fucking wonderful riffs. [!--emo&:D--]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Mine is the riff on Afraid to Shoot Strangers when Bruce or Blaze sings just that, "Afraid to Shoot Strangers."

I also, love the intro to Wicker Man, every time I listen to the intro on Rio and then Wicker Man, I just love it.

Phantom of the Opera on Live After Death has to be one of my all time favs.

prowler for sure. or clansman. prowler is fucking powerful, it was the first maiden song i heard, and got me hooked jusy off guitar
