But seriously - the Count of Tuscany? That intro is just so somber, the "MY BROTHER/A RARE VINTAGE" is just so funny, the intermezzo is just so Floydish... That final verse makes me laugh (because the lyrics are just funny, sorry), but it also moves me at the same time. A very unique feeling. Saap understood that. He is our prophet to be, there's no doubt about that.

Which brings me to this thought: Am I Maiden heretic, if I think that after the Accident of Birth - Chemical Wedding (both containing H) progress Bruce was not supposed to re-join Maiden? :D

Really - I didn't like Bruce earlier. Like, really. He used to be the weak link for me. Nowadays, his solo albums are some of the most listened-to in my collection and I somewhat neglect Maiden themselves.

(same could be said for LaBrie - Dream Theater - even when I could not stand another DT album - rare as it was, it happened - I still listened to JLB albums. Weird)

TLDR - lately I have been listening much more to Bruce than Maiden. I feel guilty about that, even if I think I shouldn't have.
 
I have similar guilt. Bruce to me was always the worst thing about maiden (quest for fire, live after death, anyone?) But as a performer? Unquestionable. Post reunion, unquestionable. If Eternity should fail? It's like nickos opening flourish on where eagles dare, it's a statement, a battle call, it's a fuckin ledgend showin us who and what he is. Only Freddie comes close to my mind. And yes, accident of birth is the best song maiden never wrote
 
I've been sucking at pool lately. My last two league matches I got my ass kicked by players that I know I'm much better than. I'm currently just playing like shit overall.

I don't know why I'm posting this here, but I've head a few drinks tonight, so I should be ok.

I guess I just don't feel like spamming the 100k thread, as ironic as that may be, with something thats not conspiracy related. Or about bird shit.

I need another drink.
 
I ate liver tonight, in a Turkish restayrant, which was fantastic, then went to a tiny micropub/brewpub type thing. They had an old Strat in the corner, free for any customer who fancied playing, so I had a go. What an epiphany. This was nothing whatsover like my cheap Stratwannabe yamaha, what a beautiful, guitar, so easy to play and sounded great.I really want one now.
