Yes, Transylvania is my least favorite instrumental. Shocking, right? This is actually the only one that I find myself wondering how it would work with lyrics. That's not to say it needs them, but just throwing them out there. I like it, opening is cool, but it doesn't have the same spark Ides, Khan, and 'Orra have.

This song has a tremendous amount of build-up. When I first heard it, I thought that the pay-off wasn't as good. I disagree with myself now. Fortunes of War is a great song. It definitely sounds like a call back to Afraid To Shoot Strangers but then leaves that behind and takes its own road. Goddamn, why did Maiden have to have so many good songs?
