A lot of people register every day, most of them spammers. You can spot some of them straight away, but others just go dormant and then reappear a few weeks later to start posting spam all over the place.

So, is everyone who has been a member longer than 8 days and has no posts all banned?

Nope. This guy got 10 days because his nickname had the word "Iron", suggesting he might be a real fan.

Normally, everyone who is a member for 20 minutes without posting gets banned.

You seriously don't have a 20 minute limit I hope. Someone might sign up and then have to go do something. What if it's a father who as to tend to his child? What if someone gets an important phone call or email? Anything can come up at any time.
