Bah. I say farewell to Hold the Line, unless someone wants to change the current situation. What a driving rhythm, what a dynamic solo part (not just the solo, the whole music shifts during it)!

My votes:

I think the Police song is overrated, and I love that Black Crowes album and (cover of an Otis Redding) song. Hard To Handle
Purple's only song in the game. I think it should stick around. Smoke On The Water
The drum fill. In The Air Tonight
Live video clinches it for Talking Heads. Burning Down The House

I'll go for a passionate tango. "Roxanne".
I also want to keep Purple around, but "Once in a Lifetime" is the better song.
All right, I'll give Phil this one.
Mama, take this match away from me, 'cause I'm "Burning Down the House".

Roxanne, although I'm sure this was once rated the most annoying song ever in a poll.
Smoke On The Water. The one song absolutely anyone can play.
In the Air Tonight. I love that gorilla.
Knockin' On Heaven's Door. I'll break the 'no Bob' rule for once, Talking Heads are far too bouncy for my liking.

Crowes. Roxanne is fine..but Hard to Handle is on fire.
Deep Purple
In The Air Tonight...Mehhhh. All Right Now. Great little track!
Dylan

Ann Wilson's guitar intro over Edge's echo. Crazy On You
Eddie doesn't belong on a keyboard. Free Fallin'
This Bowie video from Live Aid converted me. Heroes
Raw blues over polished pop. Bad To The Bone

Heart!
If you're making me choose between Tom Petty and Van Halen...I'll bite the bullet and vote for Petty.
Let It Be.
Ba-ba-ba-ba-BAD

Ann Wilson is one of my favourite voices. Crazy on You rocks
Free Falling is a great track, but I'll wait is one of Van Halen's best.
Beatles over Bowie nine times out of 10, especially with songs like this.
Bone is fun, but I have soft spot for that Cars album.
