#275. No One Like You — Scorpions
#274. Never Been Any Reason — Head East
#273. Should I Stay Or Should I Go? — The Clash
#272. Red House — Hendrix

Most of these seem to have been guessed correctly already, but here goes:

#280. Okay, you're the breeze. (1)  -- Call Me the Breeze

#278. Specifically, from Flint. (1) -- We're an American Band

#275. Germans. (3) -- Rock You Like a Hurricane
#274. A song where the instruments drop out and the voices continue in harmony for a bit. (3) -- mckindog's guess is a great one, but I'll guess Suite: Judy Blue Eyes
#273. A dilemma. (2) -- Should I Stay or Should I Go
#272.  <a red house. (1) -- Red House
#271. There's a (repeated) word edited out. That's why the lyrics don't entirely make sense. (4) -- still thinking...

That was #366, when - knowing on the 2nd chance round that it was Van Halen - you all guessed Pretty Woman. :P

Hey now. Just hold it right there, bub. I'm a HUGE Hall & Oates fan. F'in HUGE. Anyone got a problem with Hall & Oates, the Green Bay Packers, Paschenfuckingdale or Twisted Sister can come ask me about it and I'll tell ya precisely where ta stick it. :halo:

(For the record, Hall & Oates did not make the list. They did not crack the top 1762 rock songs. I say that's bogus. #1762 is Red Hot Chili Peppers "Otherside" and I can name half a dozen H&O songs better than that. :smartarse:)

At this moment: a beverage. ... Ah, much better. (+3 to nush, +2 to cfh)

Damn I wish it was April 1 ... I felt like posting that the answer was Triumph, "Just A Game". :innocent:

There's a (repeated) word edited out. That's why the lyrics don't entirely make sense. (4 ... she get high, she get high ... 1:19 here)
#271. The Doors, "Break On Through (To The Other Side)"

This round: cfh 13, mckindog 11, and 4 to Albie, Shadow and nush

No significant change in the standings... Let's shake up the rules a bit, shall we?

I have a better idea for trying to keep the game even. No one sits out anymore. Instead, here's a rule that will restrict the leader's score:

The leader may not guess songs which others have already guessed. So if someone else gets it first, the leader can't copy the guess - but other people still can.

Yes, this will hurt only cfh for a while - but it also takes away most of his points! This round, he would have had 4 instead of 13. (Leader still gets the bonus point for first - by rule, he has to!) But for that reason, I think someone will catch him soon, and then this rule will apply to someone else.

This way, cfh can play every round, but is forced into creative answers (or answering first) to maintain his lead. :devil2:
