That letter can be found in the Infinite Dreams book and is from 1979…

Some (not all) of the Eddie animations were pretty bad and disrupted the flow of the film, but they did not bother me that much.
 
Saw it last night, i enjoyed it but a couple of things i questioned
1) Why was the music so quiet compared to the rest? Artistic choice maybe but i think its a bad one - think someone in my screening went to get a member of staff to check if the audio was working properly.
2) timelines all over the place, Bruces cancer came before him flying the plane for Somewhere back on tour

The music was loud af in my screen. My ears were ringing last night.
 
Saw it at an Everyman cinema last night, which was quite good as due to the small size of the screens it was almost full.
As everyone says, nothing spectacularly new there but was still an enjoyable 100 minutes watching them on the big screen.

Went with a lad from work who's into Arctic Monkeys, Reytons etc.. who, outside of the usual radio-friendly songs, knew nothing about Maiden. He really enjoyed it so it definitely works hooking the casual music fans, although I doubt many will be going to the cinema to watch it.

Oh so my local odeon didn't get the sound right, thats dissapointing. Some of the trailers they showed before were really loud and then when the first song of Burning Ambition played it was so quiet and thats the level of volume all songs were played at.

Haven't they been recording all shows at the very least in audio form since AMOLAD? And as we've seen with TBOS Live Chapter they can use the footage that they stream on the screens during a show. I thought it's a safe bet that there are more than enough recordings and pro-shots for the recent tours.

Check the topic about the vault. There are some shows appearing at the moment and seems to be the stream on the screens

That's Maiden in a nutshell for me. It's about the joy they bring to the world, especially flying around to out of reach places to do a gig.
Their artistic merit isn't huge, but their heart is.
