I was also joking. Cos that's not Dave Pratchett. Cos Dave Pratchett famously didn't want credited for his DOD work. And the guy in the pic is dressed kinda like Terry Pratchett, gods rest his hilarious soul. Maybe our wit is just too sharp for some.

Huh, you got me - ha ha. Wow, just like you, I also thought the guy looked like Terry Pratchett. I love his Discworld novels - he’s one of my very favorite writers.
 
Looking at the photos, and knowing a bit about each band member’s history and personality, I started playing a little psychological guru game in my head and came away with the impression that Dave is the happiest of them all. Just my own impression and guess.
After all, the man lives in Hawaii, you know.

Back when I was first getting into the band I called him "round-faced happy cartoon man."

He probably did, as he should! But also Dave has always had a pretty decent lisp and he's getting up there in years.

I'll bet they all had a couple before the premiere. Shit, Janick just stayed put and had a couple more instead of going.

So Bruce is very well aware of the irony of his “you can’t play heavy metal with synthesizers” line, ha. (That bit starts at 6:43.)

Also, at the end, Vanessa Warwick said the band has so much happening this year and next. We as fans know that 2027 is supposed to be an off year. Was that just an expression, a slip of the tongue - or does she know something? (That bit starts at 10:15.)

Are Steve, Jan, and Simon writing new songs while the other band members distract the fans’ attention? (I know, i know...)

Nah I'm gonna go the opposite way with my delusions: it's because they've changed the setlist and are getting a headstart on locking the rhythm section in since Steve wasn't going to the premiere anyway. Janick's presence is incidental because he's got nothing better to do. Infinite Dreams confirmed for the second leg of RFYL!
