Absolutely. The Eternal Flame bootleg comes to mind where he blanked on a verse or two of Fortunes of War. If I recall, they were supposed to have a healthy length of time for rehearsals before that tour, and it got cut down to a week.

The Eternal Flame bootleg was worked on in the studio (compare the versions of The Evil that Men Do) and later released. I'm sure they reworked Fortunes of War too!

Yep, they copy/pasted his final chorus over the previous two choruses (where, in the bootleg version, he lets the crowd sing it), and left a horrific splice in the final seconds of the single version.
