Jethro Tull - "Under Wraps"
Disappointed on first listen but now I can really appreciate it.

Good call. Also produced by George Martin and it shows. I like that they continued to experiment instead of simply building on commercial success.Cheap Trick - All Shook Up. Big commercial and critical letdown after their late-70s period, but several great songs on it.
No wonder The Winds of Winter isn't out yet. Also produced by George Martin and it shows.
Megadeth - Cryptic Writings
Dream Theater - Falling Into Infinity
Still, it contains one of DT's "wankiest" moment: the guitar and keyboard solo in "Just Let Me Breathe", which I find amazing personally, as if they meant: "ok this song is catchy and simple, we just have 30 seconds to prove we can still disgust everyone "the album is criminally underrated because it wasn't wank-fest DT
Heritage is far and away Opeths best album. Orchid comes a close second.
Ill never put it in rhe Aqualung/TAAB arena but its as least as good as anything they have releasedJethro Tull - "Under Wraps"

Post-Crest. Now if they would only add real drums....
Bruce Dickinson - Skunkworks
Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy
Megadeth - Risk
Iron Maiden - No Prayer for the Dying
Black Sabbath - Born Again, Cross Purposes, Dehumanizer, Technical Ecstasy
Judas Priest - Nostradamus, Demolition
Is it supposed to be a "black sheep" album? I think Lonesome Crow, Animal Magnetism or Pure Instinct (and others) better qualify for such a title.Scorpions- In Trance
It's good to see someone else speak so highly of Heritage instead of slandering it to hell for a change. They do have 4-5 better albums though.
I think the way the chorus comes in is great though.I must say that Cryptic Writings is a strong album, as every song has redeeming qualities save for Have Cool Will Travel
