Black Sabbath

Seventh Star is being reissued on vinyl for Record Store Day.

I imagine it will have a wider release in the summer. They did this with The Eternal Idol last year.

I know that Born Again is usually criticised for its cover (among other things), but the one they chose for Seventh Star is much worse!

Yeah, that album was supposed to be a Toni Iommi solo album but the record company forced him to be released under the name of Black Sabbath. The sad face says it all, but at least he achieved to place his name below. (featuring Toni Iommi).
I think the imagery in the inlay and the back cover was much better than the cover, but it is what it is, you know. lol
I had that album and I finished to sold it among with many others to just complete my Iron Maiden collection. I was wrong.

The inlay imagery is indeed noticeable. It would have been fitting for the band, such mystical arts are always cool to me, and for metal. Imagine it with colors, perfect storytelling and weird stuff vibe. Especially for a comic-like inspired release...

^From the booklet (it's different, methinks?). Do you think it would have been one of the coolest in metal if released in colors? Very noticeable for sure. I really want to see it with colors.
