It's been a while since I heard a new black metal band that impressed me this fast. It's epic as fuck and magnificently produced. They don't try to be über kvlt gr1m frostb1tt3n with the lyrics or image or album cover which is also a plus.

They are from New Zealand originally, but the main guy and girl (who are married) moved to Scotland because of uni.

This is pretty good. Really melodic and not what I would think of as black metal, but I like it.
In some parts sounds almost like power metal.
I would have put it down as melodic death metal.
