Best New Music - 2019 Edition

Hellfire's 3rd album, Mania came out at the end of March. I mentioned it perhaps in the Thrash thread, but this is legit old school 80s metal. I hear a lot of Maiden and Metallica in their sound. The opening riff of the album reminds me a lot of Back in the Village.

Listened to most of this today. Good stuff. Seems to be a range of styles goin on. Further inspection warrented.

Agreed. It's like every time I listen I hear another reference. Overkill, Twisted Sister, Dio, Priest, Slayer ... it's like a little bit from every album from 1980-1985.

What I've been listening to on Spotify this year - no big surprises but I expected Killswitch Engage to be there instead of Avantasia. That was 37 hours of Beyond the Black. o_O Both them and Demons & Wizards didn't release new music this year, but did reissue their albums.

Definitely my favourite "new artist" of 2019 (so far) - she was part of bands before though, including Purson:
