Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Satriani, Petrucci, Malmsteen, Buckethead. The original list blows, Angus, Kirk, James, Priest's guitarists, Maiden's guitarists, Tony Iommi, Vivian Campbell and Ace Frehley don't come close to the best ever. I don't care how much you like them.

Janick isn't a guitar God, he's a wanker, Adrian is very good, and Dave is good too, but they aren't Gods, and they don't deserve to be topping any guitarist lists. This is going by pure technical skill, which Petrucci, Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen, Buckethead, Gilbert, and Blackmore have fuck loads. They ass rape everyone mentioned so far. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but it bugs me that people think Young, Hetfield, Hammet, and Ace fucking Frehley are amazing on guitar, you're being ignorant and picking favourites.
